What is this?
Join WAAT and KWAA's Outreach and Education Committee as we present Active Bystander Training for Attorneys. This program is approved for 1.0 hours of ethics/professionalism CLE credit in Kansas.
Program Description: We are pleased to welcome Dawn Dysart, leader in the Kansas City bail reform movement and founder of Operation Liberation, and Moon Brown, co-founder of Black Pockets, LLC and Zeke's Freedom Foundation.
Our presenters will guide us through ways we can effectively address racist and discriminatory behavior in our organizations. We will learn what microaggressions are, how to identify them in the legal profession, and how to respond to them as bystanders.
All proceeds will be donated to Operation Liberation in Kansas City.
